The evening celebrated the spirit of Eid Al Adha and promoted interfaith harmony and mutual respect. Highlights included a Qur鈥檃nic recitation by Year 9 student Muhammad Shahim, student performances by our Songbirds (Year 6 nasheed group) and Soundwavezz (Primary drummers), and speeches from special guests including:

• The Hon. Andrew Giles MP, Minister for Skills and Training
• The Hon. Lily D'Ambrosio MP, Minister for Climate Action, Energy, and the State Electricity Commission
• MP Basem Abdo, Federal Member for Calwell
• Ms. Kathleen Matthews-Ward MP, State Member for Broadmeadows
• Cr Martin Taylor, Mayor of the City of Whittlesea
• Cr Lawrie Cox, Councilor, City of Whittlesea
• Sheikh Alaa El-Zokm, Imam of Elsedeaq Mosque, Heidelberg
• Representatives from various NGOs, council members, educational institutions, Australian Federal Police and local organisations.

Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet, vibrant discussions, and a heartfelt closing prayer by Sheikh Waseem Khan.
